Scholar/guest lecturers

Targetted scholars

For each student intake, the ASC consortium will invite 5 scholars/guest lecturers holding an outstanding academic and/or professional profile to participate in the second year of the program.

Applicants may come from both Program and Partner Countries and their involvement is expected to bring added value to  each student intake in terms of student-centered teaching/lecturing, research activities, Master thesis support, academic/professional networking, etc.

The guest lecturers will be recruited as far as possible among ASC partners’ institutional networks in order to strengthen links and support our institutional strategies for internationalization. The aim is to include them to the ASC community on a long-term basis.

Assignment

Invited scholars may take over a role as professor in one ASC module, give courses, evaluate exams and advise students or give a conference and act as observer of their host’s education and examination methods. They will provide a report on their activities including the results of their observations which will feed the reflections of the ASC academic board and produce a benchmark of best practices in teaching methods.

Scholar/guest lecturers’ remuneration

A scholar/guest lecturer paid by other EU funding schemes (including other Erasmus+ actions) cannot be considered eligible.

Scholar/guest lecturers’ mobility is eligible in the following cases:

  • mobility between the partners of the consortium (including to/from associated partners);
  • mobility from outside the consortium, in case such mobility is clearly linked to the Master course.

Invited scholars will be engaged for a period of 3 weeks maximum.
The remuneration of scholars/guest lecturers will amount to 3 600 euros for 3 weeks, covering both travel/installation contribution and working fees.
